Upgrades to SLA Online
Frontline Data, our software development partners, have recently made some changes to SLA Online, these are particularly visible in the Training area. Very soon we will be making further changes which will affect all users. Ahead of this I will provide a guide showing what the changes are, how they affect your school/service, and any changes to your responsibilities. To help users with these changes, Frontline Data have also published several more "How to.." guides in the Knowledge Base. This is a really good place to find out more about SLA Online and its potential. To access the Knowledge Base, click on the question mark at the top right hand corner of the screen.
EpiPen and EpiPen Junior shortage, advice for early years settings
Guidance from the Department of Health and Social Care, drawn up by NHS allergy experts, to early years providers in your area.
There a supply issue affecting EpiPen and EpiPen Junior. This is expected to continue for the remainder of 2018. EpiPen is an adrenaline auto-injector device used in emergencies to treat very serious allergic reactions to insect stings/bites, foods, drugs or other substances. The shortage may mean some children start using a different adrenaline auto-injector that providers are less familiar with and/or carrying fewer devices than normal.
Please find attached further guidance via 'downloads'.
